Question so,

did you record the show ?

set list ?

highlight stories...

?

Posted by Theo on 12-08-2003 at10:17:

  You bet, my friend!

The evening was captured on something like four or five separate video camera's, two or three digital still cameras, and was recorded (dry) onto 16 tracks of ADAT for custom mixing in January.

The idea is that the music alone will be released in a limited quantity as a fund raiser (just like the last AAR Christmas gig--but better production) and that the films will be used to create a film documentary (using some of the music as well) that would be made available (most likely) on CD-ROM.

It was a great night!

Cool I'm jealous Theo! Cool

  It was especially a blessing

Because we closed performing "Built for glory" together. I had never heard that song until Terry came and sang it over Andrew (it was the first tune he sang for him).

The Christmas stuff was incredibly fun too because of the harmonies and we did this vocal weaving thing on "Silent night" and it just felt really great.

YEAH- I rather caught that
"Look who I'm between" thing in theos manner......

Keep us posted on the Whats and Whens...
will this be sort of a Doctor Love Documentary then?

It was good.

I liked how the guys picked up on the girly vocals on blue Christmas at the Saturday show. At the Friday show, it was up to poor old Howard (dadl cool guy) and me to do the nut cruncher vocal bits. It brought a tear tomy eye. (maybe I was squeezing to hard to reach the notes)

PS Theo, who was in charge of the pre-concert music through the speakers (ah hah! DA reference). Did I hear Michael W. Smith's Worship album playing it's little heart out for the audience? It was beautiful.
