I had that same idea, but I don't have a CD burner. I'm going to have to get one of those new fangled gadgets at some point.

Yes, you will. They are the coolest thing.

Posted by jiminy on 01-07-2003 at18:02:

  my original thought also

I suggested helping BD with that idea
since then my burner went on the fritz (something about over run...sheesh!!!)
and that was when we had mayebe 20 songs- not 2 entire discs worth.
Prob 3- some of these tunages I do not even have in any form.
So- I may make a this is that to give to some people who remotely know of DA/TST (my older kids for one)
will see...

Luckily I have all the songs, but I've got to figure out how to convert the original Wacky Fan Letter from MP3 to Wave file. One of my programs should do it, but I've never tried. I guess I don't mess with MP3's much other than to listen on my computer.

Great idea!

I still like the idea of having "sacred cows" and the orginals on the same tape/CD-r Smile

Yes it is a good idea, but it will take a little time. I don't have all the originals saved on my hard drive like Joey does. It will probably take me a good couple of hours anyway, but I'll have fun doing it.

Posted by Mark on 01-07-2003 at18:12:

I just thought of something. If I do this and to keep proper sequence, what do I do with the repeats? I mean Darn Floor - Big Bite is on there twice. Do I put the original followed by the two covers OR do I put the original twice before each cover to maintain sequence?

That's all that matters!

and you know "Swirling Mellow" is kinda like the grandfather to "damb it!" Tongue

Yes. And DAmb It does sound more professional than Meat The Farmbeetles.

I've got about 2/3 of it done. I have the 3 disc lined up. I just need to burn it. I still need to convert the original Wacky Fan Letter from MP3 to Wave file.

Posted by Mark on 01-08-2003 at05:15:

Oh yeah, I did just put the two Darn Floor Big Bites together after all.
