Lucky you, Author! I guess I'll have to pray and check the mail when I get home. You can't beat being #1, and you are.

Yeah, that means that my Prickly Heat one should be #1 too! I had thought that "Hodgepodge" was going to come in a jewel case though. But I went back to the original announcement and it only said that the new Telethon one would be jewel box release. Either way, I'm really liking the music, I'm on track #5 now.

#4 and #5 are from Neverhood, but it's Terry playing guitar and humming and doing "la" to the music. It's really cool sounding.

Song #1 "Satellite Moon" sounds great as does #2 "Prayer Warrior." Some good stuff so far!! I can't wait to hear what others have to say!

Wow! #1 cool

I know I'm gonna have a high number - I was going to try to be last last purchased but I knew I'd have expenses and had to buy in mid-august when I had the money. Frown

I think I'll have a wait though as I said to send all together - namely...

Hodgepodge
Dr Ed
Club 2
Mouse Family Christmas
Songs for day after Christmas
Scenic routes
Pray where you are single
Direct (77's)
Say your prayers (77's)
poster (77's)

When that package arrives my flatmate is going to be very gogle-eyed. And I'll be drooling.

And I seriously don't want to add up how much I've spent on DA TST etc... Shocked

Hey that's right. You are #1 twice. I'm jealous. I'm listening to Sprinklerhead on DAmb It now. I think I'm going to end up being #11 and I was here at the right time. It was all that refreshing the page thing that may have put me behind.

Once you get your package, you won't want to go anywhere for awhile. You'll just want to sit and listen.

Okay, here's my review of "Random Acts & Hodgepodge." If you're still waiting for yours and want to read it without hearing what someone else has to say, then don't read on.

Track #1 "Satellite Moon" is reminiscent of Daniel Amos circa late 80s-early 90s.

Track #2 "Prayer Warrior" Hmmm...I'm not sure what to think of this one. It sounds like Terry wearing a cowboy hat and crawling in slow motion through an echo tunnel in desperate need of some water.

Track #3 "Welcome to the Real World" sounds like it would have gone perfectly on Avocado Club #1. I like it.

All the Neverhood and SkullMonkey demos (#4-#7) are great!!! If you liked all the stuff on Imaginarium, you'll love these renditions!!!

"Goodie Bear" (#Cool is a funny, silly song. It shows Terry's ability to change his voice. The music reminds me of the theme song from the British series "Queer as Folk."

And I LOVE the theme song to "Project Geeker" (#9).

Track #10, "Hamster Theme" is sort of big band-esque, it makes me want to get up and swing dance.

Track #11 "Lift Up Your Hearts" with Steve Hindalong sounds like something I've heard before. I can't place it. Was this song released on anything else in another format?

So those are my thoughts. Any one else?

Thanks Author. Once I get mine I'll have to listen to that last song closely so I could answer the question.

I guess it is appropriate for these 2 CDs to arrive today on the Festival of the Three Kings. When I lived in Barcelona, it was a bigger tradition to give presents on the "Festival of the Three Kings" (the Epiphany) than on Christmas Day.

Listening to mine now! I'm #34. Not bad.
Satellite moon does sound like DA.
Prayer Warrior is awesome. My favorite. It's all Starflyer but with Terry!
Welcome To The Real World Sounds like it could of been on Avacado Faultline.
Tracks 4,5,6,and 7 sound like they came right of Imaginarium
Goodie Bear made me laugh. I like it.
Project Geeker Theme should have been on the Skull Monkeys
Hamster should have too.
Track 11 is good. I like Skinny.

Hehe.. we noticed that too. The order numbers are out of order. Why? I have no idea... never seen it do that before, but it did it a few times throughout the "Hodgepodge" sales.

We're shipping orders in order chronologically - ignoring the order numbers.

Ok, then if you say so...it's probably an email thing.

It's not as big a deal if I thought I had #1 and didn't get it. #3 is still pretty cool Cool
