I think DA should have released this stuff as an official CD. I'm sure we would have all purchased it and who knows maybe they would have made more money than by the auction. Or they could do this in adition to the auction.

For example, XTC released a CD called Apple Venus Volume One. Then they released a CD of the demo versions of the same album. I actually own both versions. It's a great album. They did the same thing with Wasp Star: Apple Venus Volume Two. (I only purchased the original of that one.)

I think there will be a few items offered later on that will be in a lower price range. We may even offer a couple of things exclusively to members of the Avocado Club.

We set this one kind of high just because of what it was... I really didn't want to see it go for $30. It deserved much more than that.

re: the Avocado Club...
we've also been talking about an exclusive video release for club members.. we're still a ways off from that happening, but we would like to do it.

re: the buechner tapes...
It's possible that an ep or maybe a fan club disc will be released that will include a few songs from these tapes... or maybe a couple of demos will be included in a DA box set. It won't even be close to everything that is included in the auction, but at least everyone would get a chance to hear a little of it. It's also very likely that one or two tracks will be used in the "making of" video.
