Just got the email about the CD boxes shipping out. I'm really excited.

I have only heard this album once. A girl I knew in college had the LP (she was really cool, but not interested in me... ahem).

I may be even more excited than I was finding a girl who listened to Daniel Amos!

Good Lord n gravy! I realized I should not post pics so as not to spoil the surprise...but a quick look shows what looks like a poker chip, another poker chip, a booklet, like, 15 CDs and the strangest of all- pictures of space creatures, each one signed in some alien space language.

Plus the whole deal wrapped in one of Berger's old sweat shirts. Very thrift use of packaging, I would say.

Mine arrived last Friday before I left for WV for a mission trip. My son helped me do an unboxing video. It was good fun. When I get home, I plan to post it to the DA facebook page if I can. I look forward to enjoying all the goodness when I return home!

They are mysteries... marvelous ones at that.

After All These Years and Fairy Tale were two songs dropped from the album, one of which ended up on the UK release. A good chunk of the other songs there are 24 track reworks of some of the 10 Biggies secular demos and a few other tracks.

I need to give the contents of that box a closer look. It's all about having time. But the Ritz-type crackers at the top of the box were very good. Could use a little salt.

BTW I won't be wearing that cool shirt. I need to find a suitable model for a photo, and then it will be put away for safekeeping, and will be found in my trailer when I die.

I think the really tactile and amazing part will be when the LPs ship. That'll be the really cool part.
