Thanks for being a part of something that was such a huge influence on me.

Jason, believe me, I didn't have much of a choice, God just made it all happen. I know that sounds simplistic, but it's true. I've tried to duplicate those early years through various groups, but nada. It's great to hear from people who were touched by DA. Take care!

Marty,
I have been more than "touched," I have been totally "blessed." I believe with all of my heart that I would not be in the ministry today if it were not for the influence of DA & Terry asking the right questions in songs. It moved behind the superficial crap and met me at the point of my needs.

  HEY ME 2!

Marty Et all-
You can't brag on this band too much.
I was excited about em in the 70s!- and they are the only band (well almost) that I actually WAIT for new stuff from with bated breath!
VERY few bands have that kind of longevity and thrill...still
DA- you done it (are doing it, ..er will do it, did it....)
YOU know what I mean!!!!!

Marty,

This is a little haiku for you;

twang of string
masses eager to consume
get in the studio and wrap it up

Throw in another ten tunes, get your nephew to come up with a crayon depiction of the Third Law of Thermodynamics for the cover art, shrink wrap it, and get it to the consuming masses.
Our VISA cards are ready to go.

Could this be the same DB that works for the 77's?

  Sounds good to me...

Hi Marty...

I'd buy it. Put me on the list. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for California. It's sounds have always been a place of comfort to me. You captured that sound quite well in your tunes. The California sound seems to be a theme in a lot of the tunes I've gathered through my life. This would definitely fit in.

Riding this train for the last 25 years, shiny new tracks always look good. I hope you will lay a few more for me.
