  Slow train still coming?

Question: When you look ahead now, do you still see a Slow Train Coming ?

Dylan: When I look ahead now, it's picked up quite a bit of speed. In fact, it's going like a freight train now.

Wasn't Keith Green and Tom Petty on that LP?
A rather odd mix...

  Then throw in....

....the fervently agnostic Mark Knopfler as yr producer, and that's one heck of a mix....

A friend of mine brought up an interesting point i thought I would share here.. Dylan's latest fabulous record "Love and Theft" which in it's own way is a very prophetic record, was released on 9/11/01.....

Interesting.....

Posted by Mark on 08-27-2002 at20:19:

It is a good record.

  Slow Train

A buddy of mine, who was quite a rolling stone at the time, was strongly convicted when Dylan released that album, as he had always been a big fan. That album was the clincher for him to embrace Chritianity, he claims. It is a pretty powerful album.

Some pretty good stuff on the 3 follow-ups: Saved, Shot of Love, and Infidels. Also the projects Oh Mercy, time Out of Mind and even the latest, Love and Theft, have some referenceds to God on it. ths song Ring Them Bells on Oh Mercy is particaularly powerful, in my humble opinion.
