Let's see....
How did I find DA?
Well, as many of you know, there was a time when I spent all my time in the Dump. But one day I trimmed the URL back to
http://www.danielamos.com/wbb2 and noticed all these other links I could try. Twas then I realized there was life outside the Dump and that I could confess my need for deliverance in this area.
I mean, by that question you DID mean "How did you find Dump Anonymous," right?

I had a pastor who would say that too. He is no longer a pastor either. |
Oh where, oh where , have all the good beer drinkin' pastors gone -
Oh where, oh where, can they be?
Went to look for my beer on the wall
But found it nailed to a tree.
And it didn't make a bit of difference, it still tasted great AND was less filling!
Well, Jesus did go 'eating AND DRINKING with sinners'. (not DRUNK).
Whether or not the pastor drinks some beer should have about as much to do with church as the color of the carpet (as long as they're not an alcoholic), but most of us know how that can go sometimes.
So sad, the legalism out there!
I better stop, this is getting to be dump material fast!

Is it still possible to find this anywhere? |
We got it from
unclestonehill.com
listed on the links page of this site, and also run by audioris!
It's a great CD. I like it just as much as our kids. I think most anyone that wasn't too uptight and straight-laced would like it. |
The kiddos beg me to take Uncle Stonehill's Hat everytime we head out the door to go anywhere! They love that CD ~ especially Snailvis.

I had a pastor who made rotgut, I mean, wine in his cellar. He's still going....

I'd much rather have a pastor who admits that he makes wine in his cellar (and even partakes of a little of it) than a pastor who acts high and mighty and spends his Saturday nights at the bar asking the bar tender to let him know when it's midnight so he can leave and go sober up for church in the morning.

How did you find DA? ...
... it depends on where they got lost?
I started callin' "here boy, here boy" and some pretty good 3-legged dog came over and pointed me in the right genURL direction?
(Well, that's sorta the truth, actually!)

Darn I must be an old man. 20 in '77.
Freek - it's "hide the beer'
DA ROCKS!!!!! |
HEY, OLD MAN! I was 22 in '77
I got married that year.
Anyway, I was introduced to DA, et. al. by my dear brother, JimIny, about 3 years ago.....and I remember thinking "where the heck was THIS music all these years???" I had literally never heard any of it before, and I've been a Christian for a long, long time.
but it seems a definite theme here - either you listen to CCM on the radio, and are exposed to the Smitties and Sandy's of the Christian music world, or you investigate a deeper, more expressive kind of Christian music that's not in the "limelight."
I have grown to love DA, and all things Terry Scott Taylor, in these few short years. My first "real" purchases? Avacodo Faultline.........and Knowledge & Innocence....but I also dearly love Little Red Riding Hood, Motorcycle, heck, whatever I've heard so far (and there's a lot I haven't heard yet - HEY, I'm old, and it takes a while to absorb this stuff, okay??)
