  Mbd Dvd Svu Csi Miami

the audioris sent us a rough cut of the "making of mbd" dvd. i just gotta say this: i understand when people get frustrated when they order something and don't see it for a long time. but if it weren't for jason and eric, da would have no official presence at all on the internet. (lord knows we, the band, don't have it together enough to put up a website ourselves.) the point of this is that they really do work very hard at trying to put out decent product, and from the notes they sent along with the dvd, they're taking this very seriously, only because they want to make it good!

this is just a public THANKS TO THE AUDIORIS.

(and when you finally do see it, yes, i did stop smoking a year and a half ago, and no i don't know why i have that stupid look on my face in so many of those scenes and what? what do you mean why do we sound so lousy on the live demos at ed's house?)

((p.s. -- audiouris, that montage of the outside/inside of the green room with "flash in your eyes" playing over it almost made me pitch forward on my face and begin weeping. seriously.))

Can't wait to see the DVD, will you be investigating the Crime Scene yourself or will Berger be leading the team?

having meetings with a lot of government morons! these people have meetings to decide when they're going to have a meeting to decide what they're going to talk about at the meeting. it would be really funny if it weren't so excruciatingly painful.

Posted by tchandler on 11-05-2004 at15:20:

hi El! how are ya?

um, Crime Scene?

Posted by Captain Pedantic on 11-05-2004 at15:22:

If you go into a meeting with a collegue who has a simillar sence of humour play Cliche Baseball....

During the meeting when you speak you have to use a cliche (but not a forced one, one that fits what you are saying) If you use the words "at the end of the day" then you are out.

Whoever uses the most cliches wins.

If one of the other non-playing people notice what you are doing then the game is calles on account of rain (or possably meteor storm - if it was your boss)

a lot of these folks don't have a sense of humor at all. it's like being in the middle of "dr. strangelove" or something.
