Thread: Referencing DA |

So I have a story coming out in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine in a month or two which has a few DA/Eddies references contained within.
Pretty pleased how it turned out.

I'm loving the rough mix of Love, Grace & Mercy. I'm really excited and can't wait for the album.
Just one thing I've noticed in the photos and videos that really concerns me. That place looks cold!
I'd like to start a Kickstarter to try and buy the guys a heater.

Unfortunately the anthology is now sold out - It was published quite a while ago.
The story has no DA connection other than the title. It is a gentle ghost story, and ended up in a Christmas horror anthology. Some of the other stories are rather gruesome and violent.
Here's the link anyway

And thanks for the congrats!

So I wrote this story - a kind of Beatles influenced, Christmas, 1969, romantic ghost story set in Australia where December can be 40 degrees Celcius.
And I needed a title.
I stole Uncle Terry's Ghost of the Heart. And the story sold, and was published, and then today I was included in the following:
"Year’s Best Australian Fantasy and Horror: Recommended Reading List" Steve Cameron, “Ghost Of The Heart” Festive Fear
Yay, How excited am I?
Thanks, Terry

I'm so jealous. Make sure you go to as many shows as you possibly can.
I live in Australia, and so I've never had the opportunity to see DA, TST or the Lost Dogs in any of their guises. Having been a fan for well over 30 years, it has always been a dream of mine to see DA live.
My wife even suggested I fly over for a show or two on this tour, but I find it extremely difficult to justify $3,000 or whatever for the trip.
In truth it would be cheaper to pay Terry to fly here, put him up at my house for a week and just get him to play guitar for me every night... lol.
Anyway, make sure you book tickets, and go along.
Me? I'll just have to watch old concert films for the entire month...
Any chance of filming one of these shows?
