I kind of figured that. I wish there was a reissue with some extras on it.

I buy their CD's because I enjoy their music. I don't buy them to collect them. I was just wondering why this is concidered a collectors edition, that's all. I have been enjoying Daniel Amos since 1977.

I finally got around to down loading the rest of my Daniel Amos CD's onto my Itouch. I was putting Vox Humana on and noticed "Collector's Edition" on it. Why is it concidered a collectors edition? There is nothing special about it. The origanal album is more of a collectors edition. I have had the CD since 1992 and I never noticed it before.

Thread: William |
|
I was listening to DA first album, and the song "William" came on. The song about the boy at Terry's High School that was a Christian and the kids mocked him and made fun of him. I remember a "William" at my High School and was wondering, were any of you a "William" or did you know of one? Terry if you read this did you ever contact him? Do you know if he ever heard the song and knew about it?

Thread: Most influential album cover.... |

The problem with the covers on CDs, it doen't have the impact that the old lp's had. Nothing beat the old 12 inch albums, I know that CD's sound better and easier to store, but I still miss albums.

No I don't, I have heard a few cuts from it though, it is good stuff. I was refering to Daniel Amos' old style of music though. I did not know if the whole state of Texas would understand the new stuff.

Is this an idea or what? Daniel Amos should perform a concert, start from the begging sounds up to todays current sound bring back as many of the old band mates from the begging to the current line up. How about that? Then release on DVD and a CD.

I don't know if this has every been brought up, but I think that a real box set should be made. They can start from the begging style and go to todays. I think this would be fun.
