Now I can't wait to go upstairs and hear that one! One last question along the same lines:
Many people here have the same analysis of the Darn Floor Big Bite album, which is, that it sounds weird at first, but then it just kind of grows on you, and then one day you're saying "this thing is a masterpiece!"
So, my question is, what was your feeling when making the DFBB album, compared to your feeling when soaking in the finished prodcut? Did you realize what a great work was being made at the time?
Everything seems to fall together so magically on DFBB. Wouldn't you agree?

Chicken is one that hits me too..... That was my first TST solo project I ever heard, my kids really dig the whistling on "Ten Gallon Hat"

I'm going to give those two songs a good listen tonight, on the ol' JW disc, to see what you mean.
Here is another qeustion i've been meaning to ask you for a while:
With some of the greatest albums made, sometimes the artist will say that they didn't realize how good it was while they were making it. For instance, when Dylan took the Garammy for "Time Out of Mind", he mentioned something like (major paraphrase) "We didn't really realize what we had with this project when we were making it."
Is there a project, with Terry, that you've worked on, where you really didn't realize just how good the project was until after it was released, or maybe even until after some time later?

Well, I was going to menton that; but Hat is a kids ablum, and Wonderama he didn't write all the songs with Randy, although he did write a lot. It would be nice to hear them playing and singing togther more. Taylor helped out a lot with Equator too. When they team up, great things happen; that's why I want to see more of it.

Sacred Cows was OK for a few laughs and all; but who wants to shell out the bucks for some remakes that are being made fun of. I can see shelling out a few bucks for Michael McDonald's new cd of Motown remakes, where he at least appreciates the songs he's singing. Speaking of which, it turns out that Helen Keller's fingers were purple because she heard it through the grapevine.

1) More work with Randy Stonehill; a Taylor and Stonehill album would be great.

I don't think there been a Petra "best of" form the Beyond Belief to present era. One other that would qulify for a Petra best of would be "Double Take", where they redid some of the older classics.
I think that Beyond Belief and the couple after it represented the best era for Petra.

I think they're competing with the Rolling Stones for most "best of" projects.
Petra:
"Petraphonics", "Petarafied", "War and Remembrance", "Power Praise".
Stones:
"Sucking in the 70's", "Hight Tide and Green Grass", "Hot Rocks", "More Hot Rocks", "Forty Licks", "Made in the Shade"
Petra just has two more to go. Of course if I actually went and looked at the Stones catalog thre would probably be like 500 other "best ofs" that I missed.

I only have Neverhood Songs, John Wayne, and Briefing for the Ascent. Its a close call between the latter two; but I'd say John Wayne is my favorite, because of "It is Finished", "Ten Gallon Hat", and several other great songs.
I've been dying to hear "Knowledge and Innocence"; but its hard to fork 25 bucks over to Rad Rockers, which is the minimum amount to be paid to make a RR purchase.
