Just today went plowing through all the cool bonus material. Of course I listened to the downloads first when they became available and spun all of the vinyl when it finally shipped. Just today did I look at the rest. I read the whole big glossy book, all the way through. I really appreciated most the nice period photos. I read the production and release history and it still makes no sense! What a train wreck! It makes me appreciate this release all the more. I read the little book, too. I scrutinized all the excellent album art. Signed photos, little DA buttons, guitar picks. 3D Glasses! The promo disk looks almost edible to me. I don't know if you guys remember these, but years ago they had Lifesavers pops that were swirled white and blue just like this record. Evocative!

On my screen it's planted on Ed's cymbal. It must be like a floating element the position of which changes by the size of your monitor.

Thank you for the corrections. Terry, Jerry and Ed are distinctive looking to me. The rest? Not so sure.

I was looking at the HD cover art and thinking about how youthful all the guys were back then. Assuming it was shot in 1980, Uncle Terry would have been about 30 years old and Tim would have been about 20 (!). Good lord, man, they were all just babies. I think most of us on this board are 50-ish or even north of that.

Looking at the HD cover now- that's Terry third from left, and I think Tim second from left and Ed, Jerry et al. Have I misidentified anyone? But the point stands- they were so young.

Time glows with warmth.

Is it just me or are there hidden tracks in the label itself?

It's Mike reciting Derri's hair care routine.

IIRC there was some of that monkey business on one of the disks of the HD reissue, but my old linear-tracking processor-controlled turntable can't be made to play that part. Anyone else see that?

I missed the actual Kickshtarten on this one which may prove a good thing. I'll just go to the webstore and get the vinyl and probably a CD.

We appreciate your efforts very much on HD. It was fun. It was beyond fun, it was so cool.

I figured you guys were not part of this one because the HD one did not drag on and on like this.

Well this plastic faux person is not merely short or disfigured; she's actually missing body parts, so I would say dismemberquin or decapiquin. Smile

Looked high and low and finally found a good shirt model. No way was I going to wear my HD shirt!

EDIT- Did you know people collect mannequins? I went to the local Sears as it was closing and asked if they had any mannequins left. They were all gone; someone bought them all. So you can imagine there is a person somewhere with a mannequin collection. Probably wearing little hats, and sports jackets and such. They didn't have any mannequins but they did have this. Not sure what to call it? A clothing figure, maybe.
