Interesting. I have the original vinyl and also the CD. Somewhere, I also have a cassette copy that a friend sent me so I could hear the album before I bought it. Will have to check this out. I know that there is a Bandcamp version of "Knowledge and Innocence" which has extra stuff on it - is there one of "Briefing"?

The CD version starts at a point about 1:20 into the LP version. Thus, the intro (footsteps etc.), the 1st verse & 1st chorus are all cut off. |
Recent observation: The CD version has verse 1 cut off, as mentioned, but the printed lyrics still reflect the order of the LP version (i.e., "You come to me" before "The stars come nightly").
