Radio has been a bit like pulling teeth and we have been tracking with station programmers to see if they would add the song....but at this point the best thing to do is call in or email to request the song. If you do, be kind with your requests, and then if they play the song, call back and thank them. Believe it or not, that goes a long way. The majority of these stations have broadcast links over the net, so even if you live nowhere near the station chances are you can listen. These stations were hand picked based off some of your recommendations as well as their overall formats and freedom in programming.

People have also asked about sales for Mutt....and speaking for myself there are about 35 left of the original pressing we made...but then I'm not sure how many the bands store has left since that isn't handled by me. But overall I'd say sales have been pretty good. Some of these magazines doing reviews would help I guess....

Anyway, thanks for the continued support.....

I read a pretty good review at banophernalia.com - that's the website where they "buy" almost all of what they review.

LOST DOGS
Mutt
Lo-Fidelity
Grade: B+

A nostalgic “must have” for fans of DA, the 77s and The Choir.

The Lost Dogs are dedicated explorers of American roots music; but on its new Mutt album, these three united artists (Terry Taylor, Derri Daugherty and Mike Roe) have reconnected with the roots closest to the tree, so to speak.
Instead of creating an album of all new tracks, these established singer/songwriters have chosen to re-record a set of their other bands’ familiar and unfamiliar songs.
For instance, Mike Roe (77s) sings lead on The Choir’s “To Cover You,” Derri Daugherty (The Choir) revisits Daniel Amos’ “Ain’t Gonna Fight It” (which he once sang in his dad’s church as a high schooler!), and Terry Taylor (Daniel Amos) adds his voice of experience to Roe’s “The Lust, the Flesh, the Eyes and the Pride of Life.”
Steve Hindalog (The Choir, “City on a Hill” series) helped produce this album along with the trio itself and created a recording that retains a mostly quiet and acoustic aural quality. One exception to this rule, however, is a new take on the old 77s’ song, “It’s So Sad,” which has been revved up with unbridled rockabilly power for this unique release. And speaking of new things, there’s also one fresh Taylor/Hindalog composition, “I’m Setting You Free (But I’m Not Letting You Go),” which addresses the heartache associated with watching children grow up and leave the nest.
Don’t be misled by this CD’s title because it’s the mixed breeding that makes this release so special.
DAN MACINTOSH

-I would have given it an A-, but what the hey, at least the info got disseminated to a wider audience.

But if it's reviewed in CCM that would make Terry...

Shocked

What will Joey think of this?
