Got the following note from Mike;

Terry and I will be bringing our little cowboy show to the Gypsy Den in "Gospel Gulch USA" -- Costa Mesa, CA -- for one set supporting our old buddy Michael Miller. It all happens tonight -- you can send folks to www.gypsyden.com for directions.

PLEASE NOTE that the Gypsy Den website incorrectly lists the show as taking place at the venue's alternate Santa Ana location -- this is an error.

This will no doubt be our only Southern California appearance this year -- let's go team!

we are looking at -25 plus 40 to 50 mph wind..
the chill? - you cant even calculate it......

I saw something in the news today about an ice castle in the twin cities. Any of you taking your kids out for a little fun and pneumonia tonight.

Next weekend I'm going to Valdez, Alaska for my brother's wedding. It should be a real nipple twister for a Cali-boy such as I.

By the way, if any of you like to fish and have dreamed of the salmon runs in AK, said brother is a great fishing guide and host so let me know and I'll hook you up.

salmon fishing - that sounds bomb,.


I am 150 miles north of the Ice Castle- its something St Paul used to pride themselves about- but got away from it for a few years (if I heard the story correctly)
they say its worth the drive- I mean,. you can literally walk thru this thing...
If I had a duel purpose for going down that far - It could be fun.

Havent made any type of plan though- too DAMb cold!
