Given the accolades for Kalhoun on another thread what are the prospects of a reissue of that album too?
And I have a couple of follow up questions:
Is there an effort to produce an unified catalog of all the past recordings?
What does it cost to remaster an old tape to digital format?

From an outsider's perspective, I would say the remastering solely depends on the condition of the tapes. I've read the Audioris and Terry's stories of baking masters like pies in an oven, just to make certain the oxides reaffix to the strip. Too cold and the stuff flakes off before it hits the audio head; too hot and it all melts.
Who has the DA releases from the Brainstorm years is another mess. Brainstorm was affiliated with Word, so Kalhoun through Bibleland probably is holed up with Warners who, I think, is a major partner in the music division now. Songs Of The Heart was Brainstorm through Diamante Distribution.
It would have helped if the band was able to have stayed at a single label for any length longer than a single release, but that really wasn't their fault.

Nearly all of the BAI material was sold to KMG shortly before Gene died... so it is almost all in one place now. It's just not in our hands or Terry's hands unfortunately.
There are a handful of titles that escaped that deal.. like A Briefing for the Ascent, the Dogs albums and the 77s albums.
