The release date is as yet undetermined. Since the album
would be made with the funds recieved from the preorders,
how fast they start is dependant upon that.
Once they start, and Camarillo makes available to us
some working material we will post it and send out the passwords.
Hopefully on that page we can give updates as to how far
along the project is. Thats the plan.

With your $20.00 cricket, I'd say they could do Farm Beatles II

Farm Beetles is one I just dont have in my heart to try-
I am a Fab 4 boy from way back- and I struggled with the I am Sam
soundtrack versions- best to leave the originals alone IMHO.
to hear them murdered would be ..
well, murder.
Sacred Cows I could handle- and still think it ha its "moments" -
I have yet to hear r consider FB.
Guess we all really do have our Sacred Cow (a great record by Kenna, btw!)

Jim, Farm Beetles. Look dude, that is one funny twisted burro disc. I like it a lot. It's so bad it belonged on MNF.
To J&E - I'll add my own Whoo hooo!
Oh yeah.

We are Les Beatles fans from way back as well,
and the FarmBeetles thing cracks us up.
"In tha End" or whatever it's called is really funny.
They are basically like some hillbilly cousin of Berger's
recordeed the songs. In fact...

No Berger, your hillbilly cousin did a fine job.
What was his name? Billy Bob Roy Al?

Just posted this to the DADL, answering a few of their questions..
-----------
A few Eddies answers...
- A set date for Studio Time?
Not yet. Ter... er.. Camarillo's wanting to get started
ASAP, but we need some of the preorder money for
him to schedule *anything*. So, if preorders go well - they
should get started very soon. (so far, things are going
fine).
- We thought there were going to be no more preorders?
That decision was made by Warm&Filled following
a string of really bad luck with various preorders. Things
were set up to happen a certain way (specific release date,
etc) and then for whatever reason - they didn't happen that
way. Understandably, many preorderers got pretty upset
about some of that stuff (like the wait on "Prickly Heat
Radio Players.") Well, now that Warn&Filled is no longer
managing the guys, we're faced with the problem of figuring
out how to finance future releases.... we plan to eventually
get away from having to do preorders, but at this moment -
theres no other way that things like this can get released.
We got a lot of feedback about preorders before we did
the Anaheim DVD, and the general feeling was that no
one really had a problem with preorders in general - it was
more the disappointment of not getting what was originally
announced or getting it a year late. We agree with that
feeling ourselves.. The reason that things happened that
way are numerous and go way beyond what I can easily
or quickly explain here, but since *we've* been doing
the preorders, we've been trying to make sure everything
goes correctly.(The Anaheim DVD was released on time,
etc... we had a few snags with that one... for example, both
the box of DVD discs and the box of artwork were
delivered to the wrong houses... we had to track them
down)
What it comes down to is this - projects like this would
not happen at all without preorders (or a large label to
step in and put up the dough). This album, like Buechner's,
will happen because you guys make it happen.
- Release date?
This is one of the traps we're trying not to fall into (as
mentioned above). Camarillo's wanting to get started
immediately - but, obviously, it all depends on how
fast the money falls into place. We don't expect it to
take too long for this project to be finished, but we don't
want to tell you that it will be out at a certain time because
we really don't know at the moment.
We hope to update everyone (especially the preorder
folks) with pics and news about the project as soon
as we have it. (In addition to the EP)
- What exactly will be on the EP?
We don't know. Camarillo said it would be fun
to put it together for you guys, so I'm sure it'll be
something interesting.
- Will this be a "fake" Eddies line-up?
This is primarily up to Camarillo and how everyone's
schedule works out. I think he's planning to do a "regular"
Eddies record.. Camarillo, Berger, Arthur, Gene Pool, etc..
maybe a guest Eddie or two... but it all depends on who
can make it and what the budget allows. For some
band members, we're going to have to set up flights to
and from various locations so the guys can record together...
- How long will pre-orders be taken?
We're not entirely sure about this either yet.. we'll have
to take them until certain financial goals are met. We're
still a ways from that happening. Once we know for sure,
we'll give everyone a date that preorders will stop.
- Will preorders be numbered and/or autographed?
We don't know yet.

That noose of a specific release date is tricky. On the one hand, you want to reassure the buyer that, yes, your brand new Tucker Automobile will be in your garage by this time....
But on the other, when things don't fall into place properly, and your electric blue Tucker hasn't even been assembled yet, setting a date in stone is like a death wish.
I preordered because I really believe this will be good. I get a buzz off the possibilities like I did from the MBD preorder, like we're really financing something great.
By the way, what happed to Warm & Filled and the Feavels? I didn't know there had been a management shakeup (aside from the now obvious missing link on the toolbar)...

I don't know all of the reasons for it, but JT just decided to
get out of the management business I guess.

Yeah we are pretty excited about this release ourselves.
Buechners in my mind went over and above what we expected.
I am sure the Eddies will have fun with this.
It should be really, really interesting to say the least.
Terry is also looking into the possibility of the Knowledge &
Innocence and Briefing For The Ascent double package. Not sure
what he has in mind on that, but as soon as we know there will
be an announcement on that. He would really like to do a nice
set with those, maybe write something. But wants to make sure
it can be done before we really commit to it.
We also really, really need to get Imaginarium back in print,
we get requests for it every week. The future looks bright, if
we can just get past all the past problems and fix whats broken.
We really need anyone that is still waiting on an old order
(prior to February) that hasn't recieved it to write us and
give us the details. We will be working on those specifically
through this weekend.
With the lack of W&F, Terry is making a lot of decisions himself.
The input from all of us is what he will be listening to, so keep
the ideas and suggestions coming. We can give him input based
on what sells the best from the sites, but you guys come up with
ideas that none of us think of. Like the K&I/Briefing package,
that came from DWDunphy in the 2004 Releases thread and Terry
liked it. Terry and the gangs music is never the same, so everyone
likes different things... it's hard to know which direction to go.
But something like that i think everyone can agree on. It would
be a nice set, especially for those that don't have those albums.
And we still would like to do some of the things we mentioned in that
thread. We are planning at least one to submit to Terry's approval.
Seeing what camarillo and the gang comes up with will be really
exciting. It's been too long since Zoom Daddy.
