We are not involved in it, I think some west-coasters have been asking Terry what it would take to have a DA show.

My brother and I would most likely end up buying plane tickets. Its not that bad of a flight.
As for people that can't attend contributing towards a DVD project, on one hand thats a good idea. On the other hand, the only issue I could foresee is sort of like the 77s Cornerstone show a couple years ago. We multicamera filmed it with multitrack soundboard recording, and it didn't turn out the way Mike would want for release I don't think. That could end up being a possibility for any show, if the performance is not up to what they want out or whatever. BUT, it would definately have to be better quality than anything else thats available. But a release like that, no matter who does it..it would be Terry's call on if its released and how.
Thats kind of why we would be willing to help fund that part of the project too. We wouldn't want to miss the opportunity for it to be done as well as possible. I am sure the availability of people who do proffessional camera work and editing and mastering is much greater in the LA area. I am sure Terry knows a lot of people. Ed McTaggert would probably be able to assist in graphics, like he did for the Making of Buechners. Rob Watson could probably do the sound work, although he does help on Catscratch too. There is a company Terry uses for manufacturing, the guy is a fan and they did Imaginarium and Making of Buechners and a lot of other stuff.
The potential for it being really nice is pretty good.
PS: Don't think Terry plans on canceling the Eddies record.

I live on the right coast - not the left one. But that's why we have cars, planes, jets and trains.
The more I have to spend getting there, the less I'll have to spend on the event itself. But I wouldn't miss it - period.
I'd buy a couple of $500 tickets or several $100 tickets, and tell every DA, SE, LD and TT fan I know to GET THERE.
The only time I saw DA in concert - they were still wearing thier cowboy hats!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Love ALL thier stuff - old, new and in between!!!
If it happens, it may be the last chance we get!!

My loverly niece will put up with me-(and wog?) shes north of San Diego..just south of where ya'll are schemin it appears...
heck- I hope to fly anywhere-already bankrolling a lil fund - when I first heard about this possible idea.......

I've yet to paint D.A. on my forehead and yell at the top of my lungs....

I'd invest the effort in bringing them to Ohio if they were interested in a mini-tour and if there were enough people out this way willing to pony up.
Somehow, I bet that's got much less chance than a CA show.

I thought I read or heard that DA wasn't going to Texas anytime soon...
I would really have to think hard about going to CA, right now I'm next to being laid off.
So I'm DR & Sir JiMiNy let's do two dates first CA then Minneapolis that way we can say we saw DA at their last show. Or do CA, then Minneapolis, then Cornerstone!

I hope to have a real update soon.
Sorry, but it will be in Southern California, most likely in the Fall. Trust me, YOU will want to be there when this happens. That's all I can say right now.

Okay Buoys and Gulls,
How about a compromise all around....
Geographical Center of the United States
Why not at the above location, or at least near it? That way we all have an equal opportunity of attending it.
BTW BD, thanks for being there to promote this. This could be monumental in the annals of "Christian Rock (I hate that term)" history. You have my full support.
