Terry Taylor music on an American Express ad... |
|
Ok...I got a call today from a friend who said he was able to work with Terry and Rob and got a brief bit of Terry's music on an American Express commercial. You can view it online at www.mylifemycard.com and it is the commercial for Coach K titled "Victory".
http://www.mylifemycard.com/commercials/spot6/index.html
The music is sorta buried in the mix, but you can hear it....the Quicktime version has the best audio.
Anyway...I just thought people might care. I always think this stuff is cool. I have no reason to think my friend is pulling my leg either....in case anyone wonders.
later,
jeffrey k.

Cool. Obviously I don't think I recognize the music. I assume it is something more recent they're working on.

From what I was told, it was something they worked up for the commercial.

WoW
this is probably one of the most controversial commercials ever made, CooL
you may remember this if you watched any of the Final Four
“The first time I saw it, I’ll be honest, I thought: Was it a Duke commercial or a Mike Krzyzewski commercial ?”
Illinois head coach Bruce Weber said at the Final Four.

Excellant - does this mean as a Terry uber-fan I have to get an AMEX card?

I still want to that that because I'm an uber-fan does that mean I have to get an AMEX card now?
And as I"m in New zealand does that mean I have to call it a New Zealand Express card?

The music is pretty good. Why does he waste it on this stuff instead of saving up for that Eddies album?

Probably for the dough. The Eddies album will cost some hard earned dough.

Got this note from Rob when we asked...
The "Victories" spot? No - We did something, but that one wasn't the one. I
don't see the one we did on that page. If you find the one we did, let me
know, 'K?
Take care,
Rob
So, its verified but we have the wrong link. Not sure which ad they were involved with..
