I was going to a strict (did I say strict??) Pentecostal church from 79 til 92..
n after I heard Shotgun Angel (which I know you werent a part of TC) - I thought..
There are a few real intelligent people in Christian music (we werent "allowed" to listen to any modern CCM..so I sneaked!)
The Choir, DA and the Eddies (Which you WERE a part of)were the greatest breath of fresh air this cowboy could secretly indulge in (with my kids no less!)
so you didnt just inspire other bands , you inspired kids (and their parents)
to cut the crap and THINK about our relationship with God-not just play church (which one can tend to do quite well in a Pentecostal way IMHO)
-oh and have a load of a lot of fun in the meanwhile

well, as far as Camarillo is concered, writing lyrics for the Eddies would only possibly involve berger. he can't walk and chew gum at the same time so i can't even fathom an attempt by him to write a lyric.
as for me, although i appreciate the compliment, if Terry Taylor is in the room, there's absolutely no reason for me to even try to write a lyric. Terry is a true master at what he does as a lyricist. to this day he astonishes me. and i'm really reeeeaaly lucky to have ever been in his orbit as well.
(as for instance, take a re-read of Zoom Daddy. he kills)

I will never work with that Dirtbag Hack Moron Chandler. He, obviously, has a problem with ggkxc people who minght somewhat possibly be more worded and whatnot in termes of being suffistocckkxed in way of using word and such that might intimidakkxccced 1 with a problem with th4 thing that applies.
