From the release of their self-titled first album in 1976, Daniel Amos emerged on the Christian music scene with a fresh sound informed by the Eagles, the Beach Boys, and the emergent New Wave. 35 years and thirteen albums later, vocalist Terry Scott Taylor, drummer Ed McTaggart, guitarists Jerry Chamberlain and Greg Flesch, and new bassist Mark Averitt are hitting the road once more to remind the world why Daniel Amos is still considered one of the most important bands in the history of Christian music. For more information about the band, check out http://www.danielamos.com/. Regular admission tickets are $20.00 each. VIP tickets are $40.00 each and include reserved seating, dinner, a meet-and-greet with the band prior to the show, and entry into the merchandise drawing. A new schedule came out this week. I was on for the 11 PM shift on 8/11. This annoyed me to no end as I could not drive up half the coast of CA in the 15 minutes after the encore. I reminded my supervisor of our agreement, and she relented and changed the schedule. God is good! DA is good!
