I'm sure we would have all purchased it and who knows maybe they would have made more money than by the auction. Or they could do this in adition to the auction. For example, XTC released a CD called Apple Venus Volume One. Then they released a CD of the demo versions of the same album. I actually own both versions. It's a great album. They did the same thing with Wasp Star: Apple Venus Volume Two. It's possible that an ep or maybe a fan club disc will be released that will include a few songs from these tapes... or maybe a couple of demos will be included in a DA box set. It won't even be close to everything that is included in the auction, but at least everyone would get a chance to hear a little of it.
