The Lost Dogs live is very good. It is the best live release in many a moon.

I wonder if this album will be as somber as their last. I still want a million dollar campaign behind Gift Horse. THat is my most frequently played LD album.

a couple of the songs Reply to this Post Post Reply with Quote Edit/Delete Posts Report Post to a Moderator       Go to the top of this page

I just received a sampler disc with 2 songs from the new LD disc. The songs are: Moses in the Desert (which is actually titled Like Moses in my Chordant March releases pitch book) and Deeper in the Heart .

Moses in the Desert features Terry and Mr. Roe on vocals. It is a sweet and simple song exorting those who don't feel they are not gifted to share their faith with friends to do so...just like God empowered Moses in the desert. The refrain of the song is God referring to himself as I Am that I Am . The Chordant March release book also lists a song called I Am . So it is possible, that is actually the name of the song.

Deeper in the Heart starts with the Moses theme with the line,
quote:
I've been walking in the wilderness...
. Overall the song has an anthemic sound and includes background hand claps and ends with a tinny sounding piano reprise and light clapping in the studio. This song is not listed at all as far as I can tell in the track listing in the Chordant March release book.

The song listing appears as:
1. Like Moses
2. Your Big Love
3. Lonely Broken Heart
4. Come Down Here
5. Unto Thee I Cry
6. Be Free
7. Show Me Your Mercy Again
8. Look Up Baby
9. I Am
10. Go Gently
11. You Can Always Come Home
12. Darkest Night, Holy Night

Releases March 25th.
