happy friday, everyone. i'll be hanging out here, off and on, most of the rest of the afternoon it anyone wants to chat.
hey, my 10 year old son, max, had a really great dream! he dreamt that he was in a big city somewhere and that a monster was trying to get him. (that's not the great part, obviously.) he saw a store and he ran inside. inside the store, he saw Jesus standing there. he asked Jesus what he should do about the monster and Jesus said, "eh, just give him some ice cream. everything'll turn out ok."

That is a great story! I think that is the second Chandler story I will work into a sermon.

I thought you said beer solved all life's problems?
That actually makes more sense given that contraception caused all the problems.

Cool story Tim.
I don't think this one was quite as cool but I have to tell it:
A couple of days ago I was in the kitchen and my 2 1/2 year old son comes up and proceeds to jump/climb on my arm and said "I'm the monkey, you're the tree". Yesterday evening he was saying "YOU're the monkey, I'M the tree." Quick learner, I guess.

getting together with some guys from church (Drummer, Bassist and lead guitar) to jam tonight.
Hey Tim!? You ever heard of a CCM band early 90's late 80's called Recess or another one called Ascension?

well anyhow....he's a DAmb good drummer
and I'm hoping all 4 of us can mesh well. It would be nice to have a 4 piece instead of a 1 piece
I'm working on songs for (I'm hoping) a September release of Jimsonweed debut album "Preachers Kid".

Thanks, Tim. I think what stops most folks from getting to 10 is what I saw you say one time about kids being so great (like in these stories) and at the next moment making you want to run screaming from your house, pulling out your hair. I really related to that, they can really push your buttons at the WORST times. But there is a family in our church (not Catholic) with 9 kids.
BTW "mountain fan" refers to the fact that I live in the NC mountains and am a fan of DA, Choir, etc. Around here they say altitude affects attitude (Asheville, NC).
Woggy - "Complicated Woman"? What a name for a comic strip, that almost makes me cry and laugh at the same time! What true woman (or any other for that matter) is NOT complicated?
