A note from Eric Townsend to our valued supporters

Update 6/2026: My son is doing well after his last open heart surgery. We've managed to go a record number of months without regular visits to the Cardiology doctors. We are currently working through some other challenges with Immunology, PT, OT and speech, but it does feel like a new chapter. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

A note about the message board. We had two major "data loss" events with the database that supported the message board. I've had the server IT people looking at what could be done but so far, we have not been able to recover the missing data. It doesn't appear to be anything other than a technical malfunction.

Update 9/1/2024: Thank you all for your continued prayers, support and kind messages over the last few years. They are greatly appreciated more than I can express. My son's heart is not doing well at the moment and pressures are rising. His cardiologist has him on the books for another major open heart surgery in October. Things are going to be very crazy for a bit again. Please continue to keep him and our family in your prayers. We know that he is in good hands and could not be more greatful for the wonderful doctors, nurses and other staff at Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.

I continue to do what I can on the DA side, but my time is still very limited. When I have a few minutes here and there, I have been adding numerous dates, photos and articles to the timeline - which is a neverending task, of course!
