Hey y'all. Where's the 10 people who said they'd buy one of my CD's? Here I made 10 CD's and only Mark bought one! What's up with that? I'm not sure what to do with the remaining 9. Any suggestions? My wife said we could use them as table coasters, my daughter said we could go to the beach and throw them at the seagull's, or at each other, but I think there's a bunch of cool songs on there for your critic and discussion.
I'm curious to hear what you think....It either sucks', or it's worth listening to. Rip away!

Hey Marty! I am your #3 fan! (Or maybe 4? )
I don't know... when is your CD gonna be ready?
Oh man, I hate giving dates! I'll be getting the mastered CD tomorrow to approve and then The cover will be printed, and then I'll have them make the 13 copies (just kidding, there will be more), so at the latest the middle to end of April? And yes, according to the web master man, it'll be available through the web store.

Elenor- I can't ignore him if he's going to purchase a CD! He just might be my number 1 fan, (not sure if I have a number 2, or 3, or 4, or.....).

Ok then, in that case I'll print 10 copies now instead of 9.

I've been slightly distracted recently to say the least. Family life definitly keeps you busy, with getting our house cleaned up and fixed up to sell, birthdays, vacations, funerals, other peoples sessions, work, etc. when do I get to ME!!!! Well, I've been able to set aside some money to finish this project. I just recently started recording again. I just spent the day at Dave Raven's house recording some drum tracks and I'll be getting together with Chuck Cummings soon to get his amazing talents on this CD as well. I've lined up all the art work and people who'll be putting all that stuff together also. I forgot how much work is involved in all this! Anyway, I'm hoping to get a lot done before we move. Thanks for hanging in there!
Take Care!

Throw in another ten tunes, get your nephew to come up with a crayon depiction of the Third Law of Thermodynamics for the cover art, shrink wrap it, and get it to the consuming masses.
Our VISA cards are ready to go.

nada! I wish it was done now!! Anyone want to front me about $10k?

Well, I guess since I started this thread, I might as well ask another question. Where is Mark Cook and what is he doing now? (I'm just such a groupie
) For the info. of other DA fans, Mark Cook was the keyboardist on the Shotgun Angel album and the Horrendous Disc album.
Mark evolved into DeGarmo and Key (sp?)

Could there be a chance that Steve evolved into Carman? I think he came onto the scene about then.

It's not scientifically possible....is it? I mean, I always thought evolution occured as a way to IMPROVE the world! Ya know, from ocean creatures, to walking ocean creatures that breathed, to monkey's, to neanderthal man and eventually to the present. So, from Steve to Carman.....that's not evolving!! Now a miracle gone bad? Like when the fly got into the machine with Jeff Goldblum and the flys DNA got all mixed in with Jeffs DNA? Maybe Benny was thinking about his taxes for a brief moment when he was praying for the conversion from Steve to the Tuxedo Clad Megastar. Well, at least Steve could play the....umm...he could sing real...um...well he played a mean jews harp!

Mossy-Thanks for the input. I think one has to be honest about one's abilities and then make valued decisions. I can sing, but not as good as Glen Lystne (the vocalist on I'm In Love). I'd like these tunes to go futher then my voice can carry them, if there's any hope of that happening, then I don't pick my voice. I plan on singing one or two songs on this album, if I can convince myself.

Thread: Next Step |

Well, I've been encouraged by all of the feed back I've received (even the honest input by some who shared less favorable opinions. Stretch and grow...stretch and grow..). My next step is to start recording 9 to 12 songs. I'll be recording the material using Cakewalks Sonar 2.0 recording software and Pro Tools. I won't be able to complete the CD for a few months. I'm going to get as much input as I can from musicians you all know (Dave Raven, Rob Watson, Chuck Cummings, etc.) and some other talented people who are up and coming. So...I'm pretty excited and will be staying in touch with ya'll via this mb.
Thanks!!

Thanks for being a part of something that was such a huge influence on me.
Jason, believe me, I didn't have much of a choice, God just made it all happen. I know that sounds simplistic, but it's true. I've tried to duplicate those early years through various groups, but nada. It's great to hear from people who were touched by DA. Take care!

very painfull
before parsing---after parsing
as you can see, the URLs on the left are less irritated than the URLs on the right.
Your URLs may vary slightly from this photo.
I like the photo. I think I just found the cover to this CD. Send a copy of it. What is it?
