  • Extensive conversations begin to take place between DA webmasters Jason & Eric Townsend and Larry Norman about the idea of a joint-effort Solid Rock/Stunt Records "Deluxe Edition" of Horrendous Disc. These conversations would continue for the next two years until Larry's death in 2008. Initially, Larry seemed very skeptical that it could work but eventually started to warm to the idea - even stating that he "really wanted to see it happen." The conversations included discussions of bonus material, photos and other items that might be available to make the project enjoble for all involved.

  • The Lost Dogs meet in Nashville, Tennessee to work on a new album.
Tim: "I think I've probably mentioned before that Terry, Steve, Derri, and Mike have always been fearless at letting me try anything in the studio. and they remain so to this day. But, um--I finally went too far. I was playing a ridiculously fuzzed-out thing (bass feedback and bending the strings, etc--it kind of sounded like a car crash) on the new Dogs record, and when I finished a pass at the song and the song ended, both Mike and Derri were slumped over with their heads in their hands. BOTH of them actually had their heads in their hands. Mike was moaning. someone in the room was cursing. Derri wouldn't speak. Mike finally moaned 'that is SOOO wrong.' Terry ran into the room and said, 'No. No! I'm too old for this!' I actually kind of made them mad. Needless to say, this whole thing was hysterically funny to me and I couldn't stop laughing and it made me feel good that I took it as far as it could go. I felt like I owed it to them. Obviously that particular pass didn't survive and i had to substantially reel it back in."

  • The Lost Dogs album The Lost Cabin and the Mystery Trees is released on Stunt Records / Fools of the World. In addition to Terry's heavy involvement with every Lost Dogs project, DA's Tim Chandler played bass guitar and Jerry Chamberlain sang background vocals on the album.
